The ordinary plenary session corresponding to the month of February addresses this Thursday (7:00 pm) the joint motion of the three municipal groups and the non-attached councilor to commemorate March 8 International Women's Day.
Precisely, the Municipal Corporation of the City of Totana will stage a symbolic act of support and solidarity with the D'Genes Association this coming February 28, minutes before the start of the regular plenary session corresponding to this month coinciding with the celebration of World Disease Day Rare, that takes place precisely this day.
The corporate will pose, along with representatives of this entity, with a banner with the theme "Rare diseases: a comprehensive challenge, a global challenge" that the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases has designated this year to commemorate this date and raise awareness in society on the sociosanitary reality of rare diseases.
The agenda includes the proposal of the Councilor for Infrastructure to ratify the agreement adopted by the Local Government Board to include the complementary project POS 2018/19.
The Mayor's proposal on the appointment of a municipal representative in the Local Committee of the Spanish Red Cross is also included.
Motions municipal groups
The councilors will discuss the motion of the PP to combat the illegal occupation of houses, guarantee the right of property, the safety of people and goods and social coexistence;
and another on the 40th anniversary of the Tajo-Segura Transfer.
On the other hand, several motions of Ganar Totana-IU are collected to urge the Government of the Nation to take urgent measures against the advertising of games and online betting houses in radio and television media;
and an institutional recognition of the important environmental work of Ricardo Codorníu, giving his name to a plaza, street or significant building in Totana.
Finally, another motion of the group Ganar Totana-IU on demand to the European Parliament for the repeal of agreement for the reduction of tariffs on the import of citrus fruits from South Africa and the adoption of measures to mitigate the damage committed to the Spanish producers will be discussed. .
