This weekend the CAT again showed that it is a club for all levels, open to all athletes from Totana and that has a great quarry.
On Saturday, February 23, Stefan got a great podium in the Trans Gran Canaria Advanced, one of the toughest Trail-Ultrafondo tests in the world, 65 km away and 3,000 meters of positive elevation gain.
Stefan finished first in the Master +50 Men's category and 32 overall with a time of 7 hours and 48 minutes.
On Sunday Raul Cifuentes participated in the Spanish Cross Country Championship by Club representing the Mobel Automenor RT in Linares, Jaén.
The cross had an official distance of 10,130 meters, Raúl performed in a time of 35 minutes and 19 seconds, finished in position 212 of the general.
Also on Sunday the sixth edition of the Sewer Air Base was held.
In the 5 km modality participated: Miguel Ángel Del Vals "Michi" (18:01 minutes) and 9th overall;
Juan Jose Robles who has returned to compete after a break (27:04) and 177 classified;
Fiona Richardson and María José García (36:07).
In the distance of 14 km, 6 athletes participated, four of them finished in the top 100: Edu Lucas (52:37 minutes and 27 of the general);
Carlos Ballester and Poli Alcaraz (54:16) minutes and 47 and 48 of the general;
Pedro Jesús Cánovas (56:15) and 82 of the general;
Followed very closely by José Pérez "Chavo" premiered the CAT shirt with a good time (1:04:08);
Paula Pérez (1:04:10 minutes) and 5th in women's M45;
Susi Andreu (1:18:57);
and Ino Casanova (1:22:35).
