The objective is to provide company for a few hours a week, accompany them to leisure activities and help them to use new technologies, such as Facebook, so that they can more easily contact their friends and family.
The program also includes telephone calls that a volunteer makes from the Local Assembly of the Red Cross in Totana as a continuation of the accompaniment (via telephone) and as a follow-up of the work that is being carried out.
As a relevant fact, the Red Cross volunteer who makes the calls and keeps the conversation with the people accompanied is called Andrés Tudela and is blind, which shows that having a disability is not at odds with being USEFUL and NECESSARY for many daily tasks. "
