The municipality of Totana will have 11 polling stations, with a total of 32 tables, for the calls of April 28 (general elections) and May 26 (municipal, autonomous and European elections);
two more tables than existing in the last electoral events.
This has been recently reported by the Electoral Census Office of the National Institute of Statistics to the General Secretariat and the Statistics Service of the Totana City Council.
The eleven electoral colleges are the Municipal Center of the Third Age, the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel", the CEIP "Santiago", the Social Center of the High Age, the Social Center of San Roque, the Local of the Capuchin Fathers, the CEIP "Santa Eulalia", the CEIP "Guadalentín" in El Paretón, the Adult Education Classrooms of Instituto Viejo, the CEIP "Tierno Galván" and the Social Center of Tyrol-Camilleri.
To these electoral appointments are incorporated the polling stations of the Local Capuchin Fathers old Center for the Elderly "Santa Bárbara" - and the Adult Education Classrooms of the Old Institute, which replace the Children's Schools "Clara Campoamor" and "Carmen Baró ", respectively.
The polling station with the largest number of voters with the right to vote is 26U (885 electors) in the Adult Education Classrooms of the Old Institute and the youngest is 22A (468 electors) in the CEIP "Santa Eualalia".
A total of 27 sections are counted in the 32 polling stations, and a total of 20,191 voters to date, a figure that can increase to 20,399 voters when elections are held, since there are 208 still minors who can exercise their Right to vote for the first time when the date of the respective calls comes.
Each polling station will be composed of a president and two members and the positions are mandatory;
and also three substitutes will be chosen.
The formation of the tables is of the town councils under the supervision of the zone boards.
These are designated by public drawing and will enter the draw those people who can read and write and are under 70 (from 65 years can submit the resignation within seven days). The president must have the title of Baccalaureate or Vocational Training, second grade.
The draw for the composition of the tables will be made between 25 and 29 days after the call for elections. If the elections are convened, as is stipulated in the Organic Law of the general electoral system, 54 days before the celebration of the same , the draw of the tables should take place between March 29 and April 2 for the call of the generals.
After the draw in the plenary body (attribution of said powers), the designated ones will be notified within a period of three days.
Once the pertinent administrative notifications have been received in the homes, it can be by certified mail or delivered by the Local Police, there are seven days to justify before the Central Board a documented cause that prevents it from being at the table, resolving it within a period of time. five days
