The contract for the management of the public service of specialized care for the elderly in the residence "La Purísima" is extended until the new awardee takes charge (28/01/2019)

The Local Government Board has recently agreed to the proposal of the councilor of Finance and Contracting, Ana María Cánovas, to extend the provision of the management contract of the specialized service for elderly people in the residence "La Purisima" of Totana to the mercantile "Clece, SA" under the same conditions in which it is being provided, until the new awardee takes charge of it.

On December 1, 2014, the contract between the City of Totana and the successful bidder "Clece, SA" was formalized, after the concessionaire announced its interest to leave the service once the new bidding process is finished.

Upon expiration of the contract for any reason, the awardee must continue to continue with the management of the service until the new one takes over.

It is considered that this is a service to the public and in order to avoid inconvenience and inconvenience to users, it is considered that this service can not be stopped.
