From today until Thursday, much of Spain will be affected by a storm of snow, rain, wind and waves.
Only the southwest quadrant of the peninsula will be spared.
But not all these phenomena will affect the rest equally: rain in the extreme north, snow in the mountains in the northern half, waves in the northern and eastern coasts, and wind in the north and east.
Therefore, in the Region of Murcia we will notice strong wind between Wednesday and Thursday, as well as strong waves at sea.
Wind gusts will be strong in much of the region, or even very strong in high areas near the coast.
The 50km / h will be exceeded in the whole Region and in many points the 70km / h.
At this time only the yellow warning is activated by winds that can reach 80km / h in the Northwest and the Altiplano for tomorrow, as well as strong waves along our coastline, but in the next few hours these warnings will be reviewed and surely They will be extended to more areas, as well as activated by Thursday.
Stay tuned, therefore, to the update of this publication.
In the municipality of Totana, the most intense gusts will be recorded in Sierra Espuña, in high areas.
In the surroundings of the city, the gusts could be between 60 and 70km / h according to the forecasts that are handled right now.
From Civil Protection of Totana ask the public a lot of caution and offer a series of recommendations (see attached brochure)
