The Local Government Board has recently agreed to approve the collaboration agreement between the Department of Sports and clubs and sports associations of Totana for the proper use of municipal sports facilities.

The initiative of the Councilor for Sports, Isabel María Molino, aims to promote the promotion, practice and development of physical activity and all sports activities in the public infrastructure of the municipality.

Totana City Council will make available to the clubs the corresponding facilities for the development of their activities, under the coordination and supervision, in terms of schedules and days of use, of the Department of Sports.

In any case, this availability will be shared with other sports associations or with the own Council for the practice of a sport modality or any other that is considered opportune.

The facilities can not be used for any type of activity that is not school or federated and can not be transferred to third parties, or the development of the activities of other associations or groups without the express consent of the Department of Sports.

Totana City Council will collaborate with clubs in the development of activities and events organized, providing all available resources available.

Each club must request it by registration at the Town Hall with a minimum term of 30 days, so that all those late applications will be denied, unless exception is justified.

Each club is obliged to collaborate both in the organization of the School Sports program, when the activity to be developed is linked to a specific club (chess, table tennis, petanque, badminton, orientation, etc.) and in all those events organized by said club. In addition, it must take care and ensure the perfect use of the material used as well as the good condition of the municipal facility transferred, taking control of the material used and its deterioration and periodically informing the Department about it.

The clubs in question must respect the opening and closing hours of the installation;

and communicate to the Department of Sports and maintenance personnel responsible for the installation, the days and hours that having it available, will not use the facility.

In the same way, the Sports Department must be informed of the time and place of the opening or closing ceremonies, trophies and any other activity that is carried out so that, if possible, a member of the Municipal Corporation, attend on behalf of the City Council;

as well as to include in all the information and publicity the collaboration of the City Council through the Department of Sports.

The club will be obliged to accompany their underage partners and be at all times with them in the changing rooms or facilities;

and the concierge or responsible for the facilities will have the power to prevent the use of the same, prohibiting the entry of partners to the tracks or rooms without a monitor.

Faced with the breach of the aforementioned obligations, the Department of Sports may decide the agreement of the installation to the club or sports association;

and in the event that the club does not communicate "non-attendance" to training repeatedly, it will lose the right to use that facility.

For the development of the Sports School or any other activity outside the protection of the Federation of each sport discipline, the club must prove that all students of the same have sports accident insurance, either accredited by a private policy or giving high in the insurance of the Autonomous Community.

Finally, each club assumes the obligation to subscribe a civil liability policy for damages to its partners or third parties that may be caused within the facility where the activity takes place, with a minimum amount of 300,001 euros, and also cover the damages that are incurred. produce in the municipal sports facility.

The sports activity of the club must be developed in accordance with the regulations in force of the competent Federation.
