The first deputy mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and the councilor Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, attended, on behalf of the municipal Corporation, the Fair SIMO Education'2018, which is held until today at IFEMA;
accompanying the totanero professor Pedro Antonio García Tudela who presented in this framework the project "The commitment of the galaxy Deitania: An escape room based on Star Wars for 30 of Primary Education".
This totanero professor is a doctoral student in Educational Technology and a member of the Educational Technology research group of the Faculty of Education of the University of Murcia;
and developed this pedagogical experience in the CEIP Comarcal-Deitania de Totana.
In this contest new tools, experiences and theories are presented in the evolution of educational systems;
and in it, content focused on innovative methodologies, proposals, workshops and experiences aimed at highlighting the great opportunities offered in the field of Vocational Training are promoted.
The first deputy mayor highlighted the success and degree of acceptance of the presentation presented by the innovative totanero teacher and congratulated him for the pedagogical quality of its content, as well as the great attendance of the public that has gathered the exhibition.
At this fair, the focus is on technological tools and solutions at the service of educational innovation at all levels of education: from compulsory education stages to specialized university studies.
This year with more presence than ever, the innovative methodologies and proposals are aimed at highlighting the great opportunities in the field of Vocational Training.
The show presents an important perspective of cutting-edge technological tools and solutions at the service of educational innovation, as well as for the improvement of learning processes and the management of teaching centers.
The offer of this edition includes a wide range of novelties and integral proposals for teaching as well as for the learning of digital and technological skills in the areas of robotics, programming and electronics.
In the same way, solutions are presented to make the classrooms an interactive and connected space thanks to the benefits of virtual and augmented reality;
services and tools to facilitate the adoption of ICT or STEM in the education system;
global systems for e-learning language learning;
platforms to create interactive digital educational content;
applications for the integral management of teaching centers, or technological projects aimed at turning students into protagonists of their learning, among many others.
