The Department of New Technologies of the City of Totana has designed a tourist application on services and places of interest, as well as general information of the municipality of Totana;

whose use will be very useful to neighbors and visitors.

The council of New Technologies and Tourism, Inmaculada Blázquez, has presented it in order to make it known and promote its use among users, given that it is an interactive tourism plan of the municipality focused primarily for mobile devices.

The mayor explained that the application has been made by the municipal technicians of the IT departments of the Totanero Consistory, whose professionals have thanked their work;

and has indicated that this is in line with current times, as it facilitates finding places of tourist and general interest in Totana.

This plan is pioneering since Google's tools have been used and has been done "at zero cost";

and in it you can find the location of all the monuments and places of interest of Totana and its districts.

To date, the map has almost a hundred locations with your name and photo;

although, as the mayor of New Technologies has indicated, "it is a living document, so that this map will be constantly updated and descriptions of the monuments and places will be added, as well as adding other new sites of interest progressively".

As has been pointed out, different categories or layers have been established within the plan, such as monuments, buildings and singular places, institutional-social buildings, places of interest, transport, accommodation, general interest data, culture and leisure, sports and monuments and places of interest. districts

In addition, these categories can be activated and deactivated to see only what interests the user;

and if it is used in a mobile phone with GPS, you can use the function to indicate the itinerary to follow (on foot, car, etc.);

and you will see on the map the route to go to the place indicated (monument, place of interest, etc.).
