The schools "Santiago" and "Santa Eulalia" were the only ones that did not comply with the regulations on safety in public buildings
The Department of Works, Infrastructure and Services to the City has renewed the doors of the upper floor of the CEIP "Santiago", which were missing and did not comply with the regulations, thus leaving the entire teaching center with new doors, whose total investment amounts to at 4,650 euros.
The councilman of the branch, Víctor Balsas, has informed that, in this way, the schools "Santiago" and "Santa Eulalia", the two oldest of Totana, were the only teaching centers whose doors did not comply with the safety regulations in buildings, and have already adapted to the legal requirements after making a total investment of 12,000 euros.
The mayor of Obras y Infraestructuras has thanked the educational community of both schools for their understanding until they have been able to materialize these needs by virtue of the economic possibilities that the City Council has and has shown its satisfaction to respond progressively to the demands of AMPAS and the teaching staff.
