Municipal authorities, among which was the mayor of Totana, Andrés García, and the first deputy mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and volunteers from the Civil Protection Association in this town participated last night, in the Regional Archive of Murcia, in the commemorative event to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Single Emergency Phone 1-1-2.
This fundamental public service for the security and protection of people and goods has attended more than 20 million calls during this time, and its action has saved lives in danger and has allowed us to intervene promptly in situations of risk.
The event was chaired by the president of the Autonomous Community, Fernando López Miras, and during this one they have reviewed the 20 years of life of this service that represents for all the citizens of the Region professionalism, value and closeness.
Under the slogan "We are all 1-1-2" has recognized the work developed by the staff of all bodies and agencies that are closely linked to the effective resolution of emergencies and the safeguarding of security in the Region of Murcia.
