Citizens has shown their satisfaction to have fulfilled one of their claims in the municipality of Totana.
Orange training allocated 400,000 euros from the regional budgets of 2017 to undertake the improvement in the drinking water distribution system of the municipality, and has already completed the first action that has consisted in the renewal of the potable water supply pipeline of the deposit of La Ñorica, which will especially affect the industrial estate of El Saladar.
Luis Fernández, regional deputy of Citizens, has indicated that the work consists of replacing the old fiber cement pipe with a larger diameter and ductile function.
"It was a necessary work, because as the technicians have explained to us, in the old pipe the lime easily adhered to the walls, which caused the diameter to decrease by more than 50% in some cases" ..
Fernandez, who has been accompanied by representatives of the orange training in Totana, recalled that there are still several similar works to be undertaken in the municipality "and that there is a financial endowment already established, thanks to the contribution we recorded in the budgets, so that take place, something we hope will happen as soon as possible. "
The installed pipeline is 185 meters long and 25 centimeters in diameter from the outlet that is in the La Ñorica deposit and has involved an investment of 36,957 euros.
