Last Sunday, the third edition of the BXM Sierra del Gigante race took place in the town of Lorca in La Parroquia, where Antonio and Manuel traveled in order to carry out the last set-up after the summer, and in preparation for the final part it's from the season.
The race had a distance of 48 km and 1100 positive meters of slope that passed through the surroundings of the Sierra del Gigante.
Already in cart the brokers of the Framusa had to go up from the start of the race due to the position on the starting grid.
Antonio would get into the 13th position of the general and 7 of his category and Manuel did it on the 19th of the general and 10 of its category.
This weekend Antonio Gines will try his luck in the road discipline, and will be present at the traditional Climbing to the Cresta del Gallo in his XXXIII edition.
On the other hand, Manuel travels to Logrosán (Cáceres) where he will be present at the XC Marathon Spain Championship, a race that will have a distance of 106 km and a positive altitude of 3,500 meters.
