The City Council of Totana and the International Association of Relatives and People Affected by Lipodystrophies (AELIP) promote the Jump of the Acrobatic Parachute Patrol of the Air Force (PAPEA), which takes place tomorrow, May 29, at 11:00 a.m. the fairgrounds;
and that is part of the events of the World Day of Lipodystrophies that was held on March 31.
The activity consists in performing an acrobatic jump wearing the commemorative flag that represents the world attention to people and families that suffer from this type of rare diseases.
In this act, children from all schools of the municipality of Totana participate as well as affected by different types of lipodystrophy and other rare diseases.
The International Association of Relatives and People Affected by Lipodystrophies (AELIP) has already had the collaboration of the Air Force through its Acrobatic Patrol Patrol in the 3 previous editions of 2015, 2016 and 2017.
AELIP is a non-profit organization, declared of public utility and of international scope, created with the purpose of achieving a better quality of life both in people suffering from lipodystrophies and in their families, in countries of the five continents.
