The "I Popular Race of Antas" was organized by the City Council of Antas and the Diputación de Almería.
It was the third scoring round for the Carreras Populares de Almería circuit in the "race on the road" modality.
At 5 and a half the exit to the test was given that counted on a distance of 8,000 meters, which flowed totally by asphalt.
A total of 175 athletes participated, among them CAT athlete Juan Francisco García, who finished in the 68th position of the general classification with a great time of 35 minutes and 32 seconds, finishing 7th in the D Masculine category.
Up to Almansa they moved: Edu Lucas, Poli Alcaraz and Bartolo Sánchez "Memé".
The test was organized by the City Council and Department of Sports of Almansa and with the collaboration of the CODA Athletics Club.
At 6:30 p.m. the start of the half marathon (21.097 meters) took place, which ran through a totally urban circuit.
The first member of the CAT to cross the finish line was "Memé", he stopped the clock in 1 hour, 19 minutes and 26 seconds which earned him to finish in the 26th position of the general and 8th in the Senior Men's category;
Poli finished the test with a good time of 1 hour, 26 minutes and 18 seconds occupying the 105th position of the general and 30th in the Senior Men's category.
A few seconds later Edu entered the finish line with a time of 1 hour, 26 minutes and 50 seconds occupying the 120th place in the general and the 32nd in the Senior Male category.
