The IES Prado Mayor project "Internal and external composting, a tool against internal and external desertification", has been selected to participate in the "Recovery and educational use of abandoned towns" program during the academic period of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, in Granadilla, from May 6 to 12, as reported from the teaching center in a statement.
25 students from our center are already in this town of Cáceres and this morning, once the houses and dormitories have been distributed, they have held an Assembly to elect the Mayor, the Councilors, the Town Crier and the Barmen of the Angelito Bar.
Result of these votes have been elected as Mayor of Granadilla: Renato Gallego and Barmans: Pedro Calventus and Javier Esparza .... (all students from the totanero center).
They share this week with students from the Secondary Education Institutes «La Madraza» and «Ribera del Fardes», both from Granada.
From the Institute, congratulate the teachers who have developed this project, Francisca García and Joaquín Martínez, and hope that all of them, students and teachers, enjoy this experience.
