Totana City Council has established, by resolution of the Mayor, the maintenance of minimum essential services in local government to the citizens of this county, to coincide with the convening of the public employees' strike scheduled for tomorrow, June 8 .
Regardless of the track that has the strike by public workers, demand the maintenance of essential services in the municipal nursery school, Occupational Center "José Moya Trilla", the Citizen Service Centre (SAC), Library, Welfare Social Services Comprehensive Maintenance of the City and the excavation "La Bastida", respectively.
Thus, fixing the following minimum services: Children's Schools "Doña Pepita López Gandía (two teachers)," Carmen Baró "(three teachers) and" Clara Campoamor "(three teachers), and Occupational Center" José Moya Trilla "(a social worker, a mental health technician and two monitors).
In addition, the SAC set (two administrative assistants) Social Welfare (Administrative Assistant); Library (Administrative Assistant) and Comprehensive Maintenance Services of the City (an administrative assistant, a plumber, an electrician, two different trades , a carpenter and two laborers) and in the archaeological excavation "La Bastida" (two pawns and three guards.)
The resolution provides that when such services in number of employees availing itself of its right to strike is greater than the minimum services established by the Heads of Services raffled between them until the minimum services are covered.
These essential community services are maintained after a meeting with union representatives Totana City Council Meeting held on June 4.
The fundamental right to strike is recognized in Article 28 of the Spanish Constitution to all workers in defense of their interests, is subject to limitations and restrictions, so that should be set to turn the safeguards necessary to ensure the maintenance essential services to society.
