Since last March, the Association PA.DI.SI.TO.
has participated in a bocce tournament at the regional level, organized by the Federation of persons with intellectual disabilities and cerebral palsy, and which involved many other associations of disabled people in the region.
The association has participated in this tournament with two teams at different levels, with a total of ten participants.
Among the main objectives pursued with the celebration of the bocce tournament is to foster relations with similar associations, to enhance the participants' social relationships, both within the organizations themselves and in relation to society in general and Finally provide the person with intellectual disabilities a range of activities and instruments that can be used as a means of social integration and standardization, making leisure a universal right that contributes to personal development of people with disabilities.
