The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the councilors of Crafts, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and Tourism, Ana Belén García, visit the permanent exhibition and spot sale of representative samples of traditional crafts and local pottery in La Santa, coinciding with the conclusion of the artisan market is held monthly on the site.
Totana City Council has launched this service under a grant from the Directorate General of Trade and Handicraft of the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, which will be located in the Tourist Information Point, for which it has worked with the Department of Commerce and Handicrafts and Tourism.
Subsequently, city officials will visit different outlets installed in the craft market, whose theme will focus on the "Honey and its healthful properties."
Among the activities planned for this day, visitors can watch shows with bee hives, honey tasting straight from the comb, pre-sliced and served with seasonal fruit.
In addition, for children there will be a participatory workshop and craft paint around the figure of the bee and honeycomb, and in the course of the market, may see demonstrations of potters, working directly on the lathe to the delight of all present.
