The councilman of Deportes of the City of Totana, José Antonio Valverde Queen, and directors of the Sports Association "Rock Nine" of the locality have presented the "MTB Marathon Totana City," which will go for the Open of Mountain Biking Region of Murcia, to be held on Sunday June 6 after nine o'clock.
The president, Antonio Rodriguez, vice president of the association, Manuel Miras, have noted that this year the challenge is always trying to improve the previous edition, and improve the route so that the hardness may be offset by the beauty of the surroundings, and the services they can provide before, during and after the test.
To do this, this year has come full circle to the path by adding new sections of trails, so it will be completely different from the last two years.
Thus, the test will have two routes that run through the town of Totana and Espuña.
One of the trips will consist of 63 kilometers, which shall be free and competitive, and there is a shorter alternative route of 43 miles or so, it will not be competitive, you can enjoy the place otherwise.
This alternative will have prizes for all registered categories but can enjoy the rest of the gifts and rights of way and also the obligations.
The output is performed at 09:00 hours, and the goal will be located on the street Pliego, next to the Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez."
With this change of location is intended to make participants more comfortable using the services of showers and toilets.

The numbers assigned will be withdrawn on Saturday June 5th at the finish area of the Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez" from 17:00 to 21:00 hours or day of the test from 7:30 to 8:30 am.
The organization will deliver a gift to all participants who have completed the sign-up and trophies to the top three finishers in each category in male and female and the oldest.
The categories are female, junior, under 23, elite, master 30, master 40 and veterans.
At the end and then the awards will be offered a meal of coexistence that has been so successful in past editions.
Representatives of the association thanked for their support and cooperation to the Department of Sports, Local Police, Civil Protection, forest guards, Red Cross, and all companies that have collaborated in the organization.
