The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, said today two days of official mourning in the town of Totana and the sudden death of former Councillor of the Corporation in the previous legislature, José Manuel Molina González.
The mayor has been determined by decree, a declaration of official mourning that includes suspension from all official public events during the day organized by the City, and today and tomorrow lowered to half-mast flags to be flown in Totana outside the municipal public buildings, lighting with a black ribbon as a sign of mourning.
Molina González, who was 41 years old, married and had two sons held the twelfth position in the application of PP in the previous legislature, and entered the middle of last term 2003/2007.
The deceased took up his post as municipal councilor in Totana on August 16, 2005 during a special session, replacing the former Town Planning and Environment Antonio José Aliaga Teruel, who left his post for personal reasons.
Molina Gonzalez was head of the Department of Environment and Licensing and Activities from August 2005 to May 2007.
The declaration of official mourning is made under Article 25, Title V of the Rules of Protocol and Ceremonial Hall of the Illustrious and Noble Leal Ciudad de Totana.
