Vestry Cemetery Paretón-Cantareros The collaboration with the city of Totana published a book to mark the first centenary of this cemetery, which show the more significant moments of its history
This publication, written by José Giner Crespo, better known as Father Luke, contains the memory of the ancestors of the inhabitants of the rural council and Cantareros Paretón of Totana, and is made in tribute of gratitude to them.
The churchyard of Our Lady of the Rosary just turned one hundred years since it launched in 1909, receiving in 1903 the grant of the baptismal font and the corresponding territorial demarcation.
Through this memorial book, the Parish Council intends to celebrate this centenary bend a few times in its history, featuring some achievements and projecting their desires for the future.
All this work is inspired and encouraged from the most sincere gratitude to the forefathers of the hamlet and all persons who, during the last hundred years have brought a bit, so that this site was becoming more welcoming most respected and most worthy of all who rely on it.
The book is divided into two parts, one where you collect all the tokens of appreciation and memory of it, and the second ranges from the Renaissance to the Vestry to the improvements made through agreements with the City Council sucritos Totana since 2007, all illustrated with photographs and manuscripts.
The last agreement signed between the Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the chairman of the Joint Parish Cemetery Paretón-Cantarero, José Giner Crespo, to carry out rehabilitation and improvement of the cemetery was carried out last October, amounting to 12,000 euros.
