The councilman of Social Welfare and Citizenship and head of the municipal area of Immigration, today announced the launch of a new support service called "Totana closer", which aims to facilitate knowledge of municipal resources to new immigrants arrivals or who wish to know the different resources of local interest.
For the development of this service will use a participatory approach through lectures and guided tours and visits to places of interest for the integration of immigrants.
Development activities at the group level and in the morning or afternoon, during the months of May, June, July, September, October and November.
Through these free activities intended to bring the knowledge of social, educational and cultural city, contributing to the integration of this group, comprising more than 8,900 immigrants from a total of 67 different nationalities, mostly from Ecuador , Bolivia and Morocco.
People who are interested can enroll in the Social Services Centre located on Royal Street Monday through Friday from 09:00 to 13:30 or in the Department of Citizen Participation, based in Menorca Street, from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00 and Monday to Thursday from 17:15 to 21:45 hours.
