La Balsa Plaza Vieja will be opened on Saturday March 13 at 18:30 coinciding with the Nazarene Music Day in which over a thousand people will play together representative pieces of music totanera Nazarene.
After the inauguration of the Plaza, by the Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and Council Member of Planning and Sustainable Development, María José Bedia, among other authorities, one by one the 14 bands of the Brotherhoods will delight audiences with musical pieces to end all together.
The company has performed works, Serrano Aznar Public Works is completing the finishing touches such as yard work or ornaments to make things ready for Saturday.
The works, which have been funded through the Local Investment Fund with an amount of 700,000 euros, have completely renovated the Plaza Balsa Vieja space allowing more representative of the village center to become a more functional and accessible.
The refurbishment has enabled people with limited mobility can access without any problem within the plaza through a walkway that connects the shrine of Santa Eulalia in the bottom of the enclosure.
