The Councillor for Women and Equal Opportunities, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, delivered last March 8 awards "Children's Painting Competition IV on the Equal Opportunities between Men and Women and Coeducation" the three children who won courses in grades 5 and Primary 6 participating schools, coinciding with International Women's Day.
The Department awarded the winning children with a voucher of 100 for the purchase of school supplies.
For the course of Primary 5, the first prize went to Charlotte College Cánovas Alonso Tierno Galván with the slogan "Equality.
Men = Women "and the second prize went to José Martínez Fernández, the College also Tierno Galván, with the slogan" Everyone's entitled to the same job "and the third prize was not awarded.
Regarding the course of Primary 6, the first prize winner was Walter Eduardo Jumbo Jaramillo's Bar Association of Lebor with the slogan "If tod @ s collaborate, life is a breeze", the second and third prize were deserted.
The council thanked the Equal Opportunities and involvement of teachers and students in such activities intended to disseminate the values of equality among individuals without discrimination based on sex and defend the rights and interests of women.
