Totana Civil Protection reported that the road to The Stables at the Collado Bermejo, in the Natural Park of Sierra Espuña, remains closed to traffic by snow and ice sheets that have occurred this evening.

The snow, which has recorded the lowest level all winter, has curdled from the hamlet of Morti, about 300 m above sea level, and has covered the entire landscape of the Shrine of the Holy, Aledo and Espuña.

In addition, the road linking the RM 503 with Zarzadilla municipality of Totana (Lorca) have ice sheets, which are expected will disappear during the day.
