Present the draft Research and Outreach Musealisation the archaeological site of La Bastida de Totana (09/10/2009)

The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, the Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Ana Belén García, and professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and director of the excavation, Vicente Lull, presented yesterday at the headquarters of the Ministry of the draft Research and Outreach Musealisation the archaeological site of La Bastida de Totana.

The Site Argárica of Bastida, which was discovered in the mid-nineteenth century, was declared of Cultural Interest in 2005 with the rank of archaeological site, and is located next to the Rambla de Lebor, framed in the plenary stage of the Bronze Argar the culture.

This site, according to Ruiz Abellán said, "will be one of the tourist attractions relating to regional and national level, which can be visited soon."
