The first hiking trail in the 2009/10 season, hosted by the Department of Sports City of Totana, took place last Sunday Cañaverosa Nature Reserve of Calasparra.
The output is conducted from the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Hope at 9:45 pm, while the arrival at the summit of Broken Hill with 493 meters, took place about 12:30 noon.
Along the route, the walkers enjoyed stretches of riverside gallery forest, air lanes, boulevards, across stretches of fields, and even crossed the Segura river by a bridge called the Bridge Tables.
The route ended about 14:30 pm in a local restaurant where rice with snails tasted typical of Calasparra.
The food served for the exchange of views, and was entertained by songs related to Totana.
The next outing will be held in the north of Sierra Espuña, specifically the rise at the Mortar Stone, on 11 October.
