Local Police officers arrested two people for an alleged crime of domestic violence (15/09/2009)

Local Police have arrested Totana, in recent days, two people for an alleged crime of domestic violence.

The first arrest took place after the advice of a local resident, which warned of the fight between a couple in a home.

To make themselves the agents to the scene, they found a woman, born in Bolivia with a small child, had injuries on the right side of the upper lip, blood stains and was very upset.

The woman said her ex-partner wanted to take his son, who after an argument, he punched him in the mouth.

The woman was assisted by health, moved to the emergency room of the Health Center, and later the Civil Guard barracks.

The alleged assailant, also from Bolivia, was located and arrested by local police officers, and made available to the Guardia Civil.

In the other case, was received at Headquarters a telephone prompt warning of an attack on a man and a woman in a house in the town.

Upon arrival at the scene, the officers found the woman, who was locked in his room to prevent the alleged assailant hit him, had lesions in the left hand.

The victim, originally from Bolivia, was taken to the emergency room of the Health Center, and later the Civil Guard barracks.

The alleged assailant, of Bolivian origin, was arrested in the same home by the local police and made available to the Guardia Civil.

During 2009, the Local Police of Totana intervened in twenty-nine (29) cases of gender violence.

Illegal immigrants in the country

Moreover, in recent days, the strength of the local police in Totana has made available to the National Police four people of North African origin, because they are irregular in Spanish territory.

These people were identified by the agents to arouse suspicion, since they were looking inside vehicles parked on different streets of the town.

In consultation with NPC Lorca, it was found that they were illegally on Spanish territory, having one of the removal order in force.

Three are native to Algeria, and a native of Morocco.
