Begin improvement works on the sewerage network in the districts of the Era Alta, Olympic and Pears (26/06/2009)

Councilman Comprehensive Maintenance Services and the City, Sergio Lopez, has been reported that the works of the first phase of replacing the sewer system of neighborhoods of the Age High and Olympic-Pears have already started to run, for an amount of 345,000 euros.

Thus, as the mayor explained, is in response to the demands raised by the residents of these neighborhoods, as in rainy season produced large pools of water, not having enough storage capacity of sewers, carrying more than 40 years without change.

The works are being executed by the concessionaire of the water service, Urbaser, under an agreement signed, and in particular are being carried out on the streets of Honduras was high, amounting to 65,000 euros, which will be completed in one week, and a second phase is planned to carry out the improvement in the sewage in the streets Panama and Argentina.

Also are running the same plays in the streets Basque Gama and Columbus Sebastian El Cano, amounting to 230,000 euros, which will be completed in twenty days aproximadamante.

In this regard, the mayor announced that the second phase of these works in the Olympic quarter-pears to be implemented shortly, plans to carry out these improvements in the sewerage system in Station Street, among others, for an amount of 150,000 euros.

These works are part of the regeneration plan for sewerage and drinking water, municipal department that will take place along this term with an investment of 1,800,000 euros.
