As the mayor said Social Welfare, this training activity is intended to address the practical challenge of protecting and promoting health, employment and social integration of immigrants.
Also, the mayor stressed the commitment that the City of Totana is with immigrants who reside in Totana to promote their full integration into society totanera.
The sessions were developed for six consecutive days, and allowed by the exam to obtain the food handler card, which is essential for access to the workplace of the hotel and restaurant.
During the awarding of diplomas and cards food handler, the project coordinator, Juana Maria Morillas, explained that the sessions have been delivered by professionals from the Universidad Catolica San Antonio, UCAM, and have received funding from the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Migration.
