The Department of Facility Management Services and the City initiated through Urbaser Company, licensee of Water Service, the annual processing campaign to control common pests in the sewers, public spaces and buildings in public ownership.
This initiative, agreed by the Governing Board at its last meeting, disinsectisation against cockroaches, rodents and insects in the urban and rural districts, will last for the month of June in order to face the summer with guarantees.
Councilman field, Sergio Lopez, has said that fumigation work, to be carried out by applying a product to eliminate these pests in the records of sewage being undertaken by the concessionaire of the service.
The mayor noted that in exceptional cases, neighbors can get in touch with the Department or by calling 010 to signal the presence of such pests.
