It is open enrollment period for the activities of the Youth Institute of the Region of Murcia for the "Summer Youth 2009" (30/04/2009)

The Youth Council reports that it is open the booking period to participate in the activities of the "Summer Youth 2009", launched by the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, which includes field work the town to be held in the Hall of Nature "The Stables" from 17 to 31 July under the environmental theme.

Those interested, aged from 12 to 30 years, can come and learn and apply on the Youth Council, located in the Socio-Cultural Center "The Jail", and through the website www.mundojoven.org.

The selection was made in order of arrival to fill the positions available

There is an offer of 452 seats in the summer camps held in different regions such as Navarre, Galicia, Aragon, Cantabria, Asturias, Castilla y Leon, Basque Country, La Rioja, Castilla-La Mancha and Murcia.

The camps, for young people aged between 12 and 17, with a duration of nine to 14 days, and during this time, made sports such as hiking, cycling, orienteering, climbing, sailing and diving, among others, and participants will acquire knowledge linked to the natural environment and rural development, alternative energies and leisure.

The Region will host three summer camps in Los Narejos and Calarreona youth hostel in Eagles, will be developed as water sports and activities related to the sea and nature.

In the supply of labor camps provided a total of 360 seats, aimed at young people aged 15 to 30 years.

In the Region of Murcia there are 14 work camps, national and international, in the form of archaeological, environmental and socio-cultural and that will take place in the towns of Alhama de Murcia, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cieza, Mula, Yecla, Puerto Lumbreras , Torre Guil, Molina de Segura, Cartagena, Coy, Torre Pacheco Totana.

On the other hand, young people may attend Murcia labor camps in other regions and in different European countries (Germany, Belgium, Slovakia, France, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic Serbia), Asia (Turkey and Korea), Africa (Morocco) and America (Mexico).

The prices of the activities of 'Summer Youth 2009' range from EUR 181.22 Youth Card holders up to 469.84 while for the national labor camps is a single price of 72 euros.
