The "I Solidarity March" will be held on Sunday 29 March at noon from the Plaza of the Constitution (27/03/2009)

The "Solidarity March I", organized by the Association for Rare Diseases and Development Degenerative Disorders "D'Genes" and the Multiple Sclerosis Association of Area III of Lorca (EEA III) in collaboration with the departments of Social Welfare and Health, be held on Sunday 29 March and the start will take place at noon from the Plaza de la Constitution.

This solidarity action, which aims to raise the poblaicuón on the problems of these diseases has been presented this morning by the councilman of Social Welfare, Juan Carrion, the councilman of Health, Trinidad, and representatives of both associations.

The initiative has been driven by the Multiple Sclerosis Association of Area III of Lorca (EEA III), which has been developing this kind of solidarity actions in the municipalities that make up the Health Area III., To be released between citizenship and to create awareness and living spaces.

Also, through the march of solidarity, is to create a space for coexistence between the two associations and all those who want to adhere to it, to join forces and work together to improve the quality of life of these people and their family, and that these patients are seen covered by two associations fighting to defend their rights.

The march, which will depart at 12:00 hours from the Plaza of the Constitution, will cover the main streets of the town for an hour and a half and will involve the collaboration of the Department of Public Safety, and Local Police Totana, to ensure the proper development of it.

To carry out awareness campaign and recruitment of members, in the Plaza of the Constitution placed an information table from 10:00 hours to all persons who wish to join this march, who each will receive a T-shirt .

Finally, representatives of the Multiple Sclerosis Association of Area III of Lorca (EEA III), Antonio Garcia and Pablo Moreno, and the president of "D'Genes", Naca Pérez de Tudela, appreciated the cooperation extended by the City Council Totana, and encouraged all citizens to participate in the solidarity march, which seeks, among other things, continue the fight against social exclusion and integration of all people.
