The Department of Sports and Athletics Club Totana held on Saturday March 7 at the Polideportivo Municipal "December 6" a day of athletics, part of the School Sports Programme, which involved one hundred sixty-three school categories juvenile, infant, cadet and youth belonging to different schools in Totana.
Throughout the morning the students had the opportunity to participate in athletics six different ways: speed, endurance, long jump, high jump, hurdles and shot put.
The final winners in each of the categories were: Miguel Angel Martínez Sánchez, Santiago College (Male Youngsters), Sofia-Saker's Mecca, Santiago College (Alevín Female), Steven Jiménez Illescas, the Reina Sofía School (Male Child) , Natalia Diaz, IES Juan de la Cierva (Female Child); Maikol Jesus Santis, IES Prado Mayor (Cadet Men) and Rafael Alvarez Garre, the Reina Sofia School (Junior Men).
The day concluded with the presentation of trophies to top three teams from each of the categories, by the Councillor for Sports, José Antonio Valverde Queen.
This test has also been qualifying school for the Regional Final Athletics School organized by the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia, the next 22 to 23 May, Eagles, attended by leading scholars in the local stage.
