On Saturday January 31 was a new day of the Fourth Circuit Racing Club organized by the JC Athletic Totana-pallets, with the collaboration of the Sports Department.
That afternoon saw the first local test of the calendar, the race of "La Virgen de la Paloma", proof of 10 kilometers (the first four were neutered) which passed through the area of Los Aramillejos and path of the Virgen de La Paloma .
At 17h he started from the athletics track of the Polideportivo Municipal "December 6, beginning the group of over thirty athletes neutralized the stretch, going by the side of the transfer in Alhama direction until the area of Los Aramillejos, area came out of the race.
From the moment the athlete's Club totanero Juan Jose Robles broke the squad of athletes, taking a few meters ahead of the chasing pack.
After more than a kilometer of travel, took the head of the race circuit leader, Raul Cifuentes with Eliocroca Club athletes Chumillas Lorca and Gabriel García Lucas.
At the start of the climb to the Virgen de La Paloma Club athlete went totanero distancing his pursuers Lorca, taking increasing advantage thanks to the great pace imposed, an advantage that increased over the last three kilometers of racing , that ran along the road until the transfer of Sports.
Thus, after less than an hour total test came first to the finish Raul Cifuentes, followed by Lucas Garcia and Gabriel Chum.
In fourth place came Pascual Del Castillo and fifth place totanero Bartolo Martinez.
Regarding the first female across the line was the athlete of the JC Club Pallets Lisa Woods, followed by Sonia Valenzuela.
In this way the overall circuit continues to hold as a solid leader Raul Cifuentes (120 points), followed by Gabriel Chum (112 points).
In third place club athletes totanero Gallardo and Pedro José Fulgencio Pelegrin, both with 107 points and closing the podium to honor the athlete of AD Eliocroca Francisco Mateo (104 points).
Regarding the general feminine continues to lead Lisa Woods (118 points), followed by the athlete's Club Cartagena Mandarache Cary Leal (60 points) and Sonia Valenzuela (58 points).
The racetrack, after two races, take a break until next February 14, the day where a new test will be held locally, the mythical race of the Ermita de la Huerta.
The race starts at 17h from the sports center and has a total distance of 11 kilometers, being the first 5 neutralized, until arrival at the Chapel of Our Lady of La Huerta.
From there you will exit, passing the following two km promenade area until the transfer to and from the Sports Centre.
Registration is free and can be made until the day of the test at 13:30 h (catotana@hotmail.com) and that afternoon to fifteen minutes before departure.
