From 2001 to date the number of people served has increased from 17 to 33, improving facilities and equipment of the center.

Teamwork, commitment and effort to innovate the group of professionals has a grain of sand in the growth of this project, he explained.

Therefore, both the mayor and thanked Councilman sensitivity to the challenge of disabilities, encouraging them to continue working in this field.

Also, students of the Center proceeded to read a variety of needs and demands, among which stressed the equality of persons, the need for a job, sheltered housing and full integration of this group.

The councilman of Social Welfare has expressed his satisfaction at being able to have professional staff of this center, with whom he has worked "hand" to improve services offered to all users.

For his part, Mayor of Totana, Totana stated that is an accurate reflection of work in social policy and commended the work done by professionals in the Center, since "it is a focal point and one of the most comprehensive Region in terms of services and benefits and is offering a high quality level, manifesting the intention of the City Council to "continue working with the entire professional team listening to all the needs that we move the users and try to improve all the resources available for people with disabilities. "

Currently, the Occupational Center is open from people with low level of autonomy for specific programs of rehabilitative activities, to people with high level of autonomy that are more advanced stimulation in different areas: social skills, instrumental skills, physical activity, occupational workshops , introduction to computing.
