The Department of Sports City of Totana has launched this October in the School Sports Centre in nine primary schools in the locality, within the School Sports Programme which offers free this Department in collaboration with the Directorate General Sports Region of Murcia and Physical Education teacher from each of the participating centers: Reina Sofia, Tierno Galván, La Cruz, Santa Eulalia, La Milagrosa, Santiago, Regional, San Jose and Guadalentín
A total of 483 schools are participating in these activities, school sport, aged between 6 and 12 years, divided into three categories: prebenjamin, benjamin and fry.
The main objective of this activity is the initiation hall and the creation of healthy habits, working mostly the sports of Basketball, Handball, Futsal and Volleyball adapted partoculares ages and abilities of each student.
These activities taught in the sports centers teach us during the eight months that the school year, twice a week, Monday through Thursday in the period between four and six in the evening, by sports monitors the Sports Department.
Throughout the course, students also have the ability to compete with students from other schools through the School Games, held every Friday evening in the various sports facilities, and even have the possibility to participate in Benjamin School Regional Championship and fry, organized by the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia, where participating schools throughout the region
