The Ministry of Agriculture and Water 3.4 km road run-rural town of Totana, with the aim of further improving the current conditions of service of these pathways, both for access to farms and rural homes for transit agricultural vehicles.
The works, which will benefit roads and Piedra Cañada Hermosa Viper, and the first part of the way Turbinto, provide for the widening of platforms, improving the grades and drainage systems for rainwater and as the placement of an asphalt layer for better road maintenance, and related signaling traffic.
This project has an investment of 200,000 euros, 50 percent funded by the Department and the city of Totana, in addition to the 250,000 euros already invested in the municipality to improve rural service roads, as part of the agreement signed by both governments in April 2007.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Water has been operating in the improvement and upgrading of rural roads serving farms through Local Plans.
So, this year will reach 1,815 kilometers of rural roads upgraded, with a budget of 7.5 million euros.
