About 40 students participate in the course of the Universidad Internacional de Mar "Translation and cultural mediation: the translator / interpreter in the public sector and private" (15/09/2008)

The course of "Translation and cultural mediation: the translator-interpreter in the public and private sector", offered by the Universidad Internacional del Mar, has been inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of University Extension, Guillermo Díaz Baños, Councillor of Education Totana Roque Molina Legaz, and the course director, Ana Maria Rojo Lopez.

This is the first municipality in the course is taught at the University of the Sea and has been widely accepted by professionals and students of the University of Murcia and Cartagena, and a total of 38 people are participating in working days for completion on Friday 19 September.

The mayor of Education welcomed the participants of the course, most of whom are outsiders of the town, and invited them to meet the municipality building who have come to the working days.

Teachers focus the theme of their conference on Tuesday 16 September at the figure of the interpreter as intercultural mediator in business and real estate, on Wednesday 17th, will discuss cultural differences in health services, on Thursday 18 working hours shall be designed to analyze the role of interpreter cultural mediator in the courts and police stations, and on Friday 19, the conference will focus on the role of interpreter cultural mediator.

Sea International University this year and because of its twenty-fifth anniversary has increased the number of courses and venues, and will be present in 20 municipalities in the region through 67 training courses of various kinds.
