Councilwoman Women and Equal Opportunities, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, has reported that the Institute for Women in the region of Murcia has awarded a grant to the City Council of Totana the amount of 12,300 euros for the improvement and equipping of facilities for the services aimed specifically at women.
In this sense, under the grant, the mayor expressed his satisfaction and said that, taking into account the needs of various community centers which provide services for women, it will proceed with the delivery of equipment needed Center Reconciling Work and Family Life of Paretón "Our Lady of the Rosary", the Local Employment Center for Women of Totana and the Department of Women and Equal Opportunities for the development of their activities.
Specifically, the Center for Work-Life Balance Work and Family Paretón "Our Lady of the Rosary", and taking into account the needs of it is going to deliver a TV and DVD for the development of educational activities with learners children.
Moreover, and to provide quality care, it will deliver a portable air conditioner with heat pump for the classroom that has no cooling in summer.
The rest of the material will go to the Local Employment Center for Women and the Resource Center for Equality, both offices of the Department of Women and Equal Opportunities.
Specifically, they will buy a TV, DVD, orderly three coaches, a laptop, projector video projector, furniture material for the three computers, camera, printer, shredder, besides acquiring literature on equal opportunity, coeducational, etc.
This material has been acquired with the objective of expanding the facilities of both services for the development of training activities, workshops, seminars and everything is organized throughout the year by the Department.
