Totana City Council has received a grant from the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF), amounting to EUR 27,877.08 for the implementation of Agenda OPEA called "Actions Guidance for Employment and Self-Employment Assistance" which will serve More than 200 people, as reported by Councilwoman Development and Employment, Trini Cayuela.
These actions aim, through information, guidance, support and advice, facilitate the improvement of the position in the labor market of people registered as seeking work for others as well as inform, motivate and advise in order to detect and boost self-employment initiatives in the municipality.
As reported by the mayor, will be addressed in the Programme OPEA more than 200 people unemployed in the municipality and will run from September 2008 to March 2009 total number of shares as a 160cm interviews involving an individualized career guidance, where technical / agree to and person using the steps necessary to achieve optimum development of the employability pathway.
During this period he will be held 4 shares group, whose contents are about the job search techniques, motivation, self esteem, social skills, new sources of employment and so forth.
It also will launch 6 individual actions of business and project advisory group 2 shares information and motivation towards self-employment, which will be attended at least 30 people.
The content will focus around the self, the entrepreneur and the idea, developing the business plan, legal forms, grants, subsidies, procedures for setting up and launching the company.
OPEA Program coordination is carried from the Local Development Centre located in the Industrial Park "The Salt marsh, which offers career counseling services, information and advice to entrepreneurs and business owners throughout the year.
