The autonomous granted 26,719 euros for the equipping of the new kindergarten school that was built in the neighborhood of "El Parral" (04/08/2008)

The Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration has granted a total of 26,719 euros for the equipping of the classrooms of the new College of Early Childhood Education that has been built on a plot of the neighborhood "El Parral", compared to IES "Juan de la Cierva "and that will be operational in the next school year 2008/2009.

The mayor, José Martínez Andreo, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Minister of industry, Joaquín Bascuñana, during a ceremony held in Murcia which has involved 18 other mayors to create new jobs in Call Centers Children in the Region of Murcia for children 0 to 3 years.

This agreement will provide furniture and other equipment for future Children's School in El Parral, whose foundation stone was laid by the mayor and the Minister of the Presidency, Juan Antonio De Heras, and finished a few months ago.

The works, which began in November last year, were executed by the company Proydecon with a budget of 387,500 euros and a period of six months.

The center was built on an area of 567 square meters, in a plot donated by the municipality of about 3,000 square meters.

This school will house eight classrooms for teaching children the first cycle to accommodate a maximum of 25 children each, toilet modules, an administrative area with offices, staff room, reception, public toilets, clothing, kitchen, dining, storage, zone Games and garden area, among other services.

The building, located on the street corner Santomera with San Antonio in the neighborhood of El Parral near the IES "Juan de la Cierva" will be built on one floor and is designed adapted for people with disabilities, with toilets and changing rooms and adapted with ramps.

This infrastructure will be implemented in two phases, welcoming in the first phase of schooling of 60 children aged between one and two years, and in a second phase will enroll about 130 children each.

In addition, this same plot is planned to build the new library and a study hall for the residents of this neighborhood.
