The Department of Sports reports that on Friday October 16 began Phase Local School Sports, with the modalities of basketball, handball, soccer and volleyball, organized by the municipal department.
The program includes participation in this school year a total of 1,168 schools belonging to the youngest categories, juvenile, infant, cadet and youth.
In this competition all schools in the town: "Reina Sofia", "Tierno Galvan", "Santa Eulalia", "The Cross", "La Milagrosa", "Santiago", "Regional-Deitania", "San Jose "" Guadalentín "," Luis Perez Rueda ";
and IES "Juan de la Cierva" and "Prado Mayor", respectively.
This will take place between the months of October to March, during the Wednesday afternoon in the School Hall, between 16 and 19 hours to the categories of children, cadet and youth;
and Friday afternoon at the Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez", between 16 and 19 hours to the baby and juvenile categories.
The top three schools classified in each of the sports trophy and medals will be convened, and also the champion team will qualify to compete in the Inter Phase School Sports, organized by the Directorate General of Youth and Sports of the Region of Murcia together with the neighboring municipalities of Alhama, Aguilas, Mazarrón, Puerto Lumbreras and Aledo.
The first day of this Phase Local School Sports took place then on Friday October 16, at the Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez" mode with Futsal Alevín.
