The Department of Economic Development, Training and Employment, in collaboration with the State Association of Persons and Caregivers in Rural Areas "Solidarity" were launched in the CLD the course "Technician and Senior Animation disabled "with a total of 40 hours.
This training initiative is funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment and the European Social Fund, along with the collaboration of COAG Murcia.
The objective of this action is to train 16 students / as in those technical and programming resources, organization and implementation of recreational, educational and rehabilitative activities for seniors.
To this end they will learn activities, intervention techniques, group dynamics and support strategies tailored to seniors, giving them an official course completion certificate.
In short, this is train / as alumni / ae to the end of their learning are prepared to develop these activities and work as entertainers in nursing homes, be animators in homes or clubs for the elderly and participate in trips organized for Elderly.
Councillor for Economic Development, Antonia Camacho, explained during his inauguration that "his department intends to continue to offer various courses related to the care of elderly and dependent, being a sector considered a new source of employment".
