72,600 euros to restore the Altarpiece of the Sanctuary of Santa Eulalia de Totana (30/12/2014)

The Governing Council has approved a grant from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, amounting to 72,600 euros, the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena to carry out restoration Altarpiece of the Sanctuary of Santa Eulalia de Totana, which part of the cultural heritage as one of the most outstanding works of the eighteenth century in Murcia.

The altarpiece by Jerome Caballero, dating from the eighteenth century and has been declared a Cultural Monument with character.

This is one of the few coffered pair and knuckle that remain in the region.
