The Department of Sports reports that on Saturday, December 13, held at the Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez" Phase Local Chess School Sports, organized by the Department of Sports and Chess Club, where 60 students from different schools in the city participated.
In the same students from the youngest categories, juvenile, child and youth cadet participated in both male and female form.
The final champions in each of the categories were: Francisco Lopez (La Cruz) in male youngest category;
Narjes Rock (Regional-Deitania) in female baby;
Trinidad Ceron (La Milagrosa) in male juvenile;
Clara López (La Cruz) in juvenile female;
Juan José Vera (IES Juan de la Cierva), male infant;
Cindy Ceron (IES Juan de la Cierva) in female children;
and Anthony Garcia (Reina Sofia) in male cadet
The competition concluded with the awards ceremony for the top three finishers in each category, by the Councillor for Sports, Bartolomé Pérez Pallares;
and the mayor of City Services, María José Bedia, as well as the president of the Chess Club, Pedro Garre.
The best school of the local phase will have the opportunity to participate in the Regional Phase Chess School Sports, which organizes the Department of Youth and Sports of the Region of Murcia.
