Four young students of the IES "Prado Mayor" and "Juan de la Cierva" of Totana have been selected to carry out their work for youth correspondents in the sixth edition of Youth Correspondents program for this school year 2014/2015.
From the Department of Youth and Sports and the General Directorate of Vocational Education Quality, Innovation and Attention to Diversity in collaboration with the municipalities and Secondary Schools in the Region, is launching a new edition of the project for this course with the aim of decentralizing the information generated in Informajóvenes and bring it to the public young student at the Secondary and University Teaching.
Since the program began, the correspondents attended the Initial Training Meeting, organized by the DG of Youth and Sports, which has taken place in the High Performance Centre in Los Alcazares.
At this meeting the correspondents have received together with 60 other correspondents Secondary Education Centers of other municipalities in the Region of Murcia and University of Murcia and Cartagena, policies and guidelines to perform the functions of correspondents.
These functions are to inform, coordinated with your municipality yDirección Informajoven competent General on Youth of the Region of Murcia, of all matters that may be of interest to young people's leisure time, youth accommodation, scholarships and grants, study, work, useful addresses, publications, and so on.
It should also translate the information gathered in the center where they perform their duties correspondent and get it to the Youth Information Services;
keep updated and ordered the media and other means (bulletin boards, newspapers, newsletters, brochures, social networks, etc.) and to let the young, by claims that the information on these supports is to them and cooperate in achieving the objectives of program in which it participates.
Throughout the course the correspondents continue forming in various meetings and participating in other projects to launch the DG of Youth and Sports.
Over the next few days the students of the IES Prado Mayor and Juan de la Cierva able to make use of this service information and contact its correspondents.
