Homage to the Spanish flag on the occasion of the festival of Pilar (12/10/2014)

Military Air Surveillance Squadron (EVA 13), Civil Guards Principal Position Totana, Local Police Headquarters Totana, civil protection and civil authorities have presided in Constitution Square institutional homage to the Spanish flag, to mark the feast day of Pilar, patroness of the Civil Guard, which has also served to remind the deceased of the local police, Civil Guard and the Army.

The event was held at the end of the traditional Mass of the patron saint of the Guardia Civil that has taken place in the Convent of the Three Hail Marys, which has received numerous public assistance because of good weather conditions of the day.

Staff trained to salute the flag has been composed of members of the Civil Guard post and members Totana Totana Local Police and representatives of the three armed forces and the Municipal Corporation, who have completed training.

Before the event was given Read Article four of the Spanish Constitution on the flag of Spain and the autonomous communities own banners.

Then two members of the local police discovered have carried the flag to the base of the great mast located in the square, where a member of the Civil Guard post Totana has undertaken while hoisting Music Group has interpreted Totana national anthem and all the uniformed training has remained in salute position.

Tribute to the deceased

The Mayor of Totana, María Isabel Sánchez Ruiz, head of the Air Surveillance Squadron 13th Air Force, commander Ricardo Bernal Acebal, next to Brigade Guardia Civil post of Totana, Antonio Martín Tarifa, have placed the crown of laurel in honor of the deceased, while the band and Coral Santiago have interpreted the song "Death is not the end."

The Civil Guard honors two

Meanwhile the Civil Guard Totana has made before the beginning of the act, the tribute after the local police, Angel Espinosa for his contribution in a performance in collaboration with the Civil Guard and Juan Martínez Fernández, former gravedigger Totana, for his selfless contribution to the body of the Civil Guard.
