Totana's Town and Parish Caritas Santiago El Mayor and the Three Hail Marys have recently signed a cooperation agreement that will allow the joint development project performance in terms of Social Services and Social Welfare of the population and the poorest families in this county .
The mayor, Isabel Maria Sanchez, accompanied by the Councillor for Social Care, Josefa María Sánchez, signed the agreement with the pastors and representatives of Caritas in both parishes, José Ruiz and Pedro Hernandez, respectively.
This collaboration is already underway for three years, although it has been decided that joint actions arising from emergency situations that are made jointly by both institutions are reflected in a specific collaboration agreement.
Representatives according to promoters thanked for drafting the agreement in both parishes, Rafael and Lucia Hostench Vivancos and municipal technicians and collaboration available to realize this agreement.
The signatories of both the Consistory as Caritas totanero stressed that the purpose is to provide services and conduct social benefits that guarantee the social rights of all disadvantaged citizens of Totana and promote equality and justice in social relations;
and encourage the support, care and integration of people at risk of social exclusion.
The aims are to promote consensus and consolidation of branch circuit and intervention with families being served from both institutions;
standardize criteria of intervention based on cooperation and collaboration;
promote joint training of social work with families in social disadvantage and promote the creation of networking experience.
